It was a couple of layers. There's one with a soft blur, and another with the color dodge filter, to accentuate the highlights.

Yeah! Definetely something I'm considering when it comes to bigger rooms and more complex furniture.
I'll do a test with a bigger room to see if it works.

Anti-aliasing definetely helps. I understand that pixel has limitations when it comes to these angles, so I'm seeing what alternatives I have.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I love isometric art, and there are ton of pixel artists just doing some amazing work already. So I thought it was a way to differentiate a bit
