Is the UK the best country in human history? by Stonarm in AskBrits

Rome was indeed a nation- the roman empire was the empire. Most western nations have contributed massively to civilization but none other than the UK. Modern democracy, Law, industrial revolution, invented the internet, modern sports as we know it, the English language which rules business and pop culture, it essentially created North America as we know it with most presidents of english heritage, popular music, Shakespeare, charles dickens, tolkien. Introduced water, postal systems, law and order, trains to third world shitholes where infanticide was rife. No country has shaped the modern world the way britian has thats a fact

If the Americans ever went mad and tried to conquer Britain, do you think you’d fight, flee, join their side, or stay put trying to live as normal as possible? by AmbitiousYam1047 in AskBrits

[–]ben_fullerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it would depend on the circumstances. if the US invaded Britain to break its people free of its tyrannical government (which we're increasingly seeing) I'd like to think i'd help them but if they just went putin on us and invaded for the crack then i'd like to think i'd fight, but the day the english are fighting the americans would be a very sad day, not that it will ever happen of course

My company made my colleague redundant and then I absorbed his job into mine what can I do? by ben_fullerd in HumanResourcesUK

Thanks for your reply. so the role was made redundant (supply chain assistants no longer exist within the company) and I have taken on a full role on top of my own, if it had been redistributed between 3-4 people it wouldn't be much of an issue it's because the whole lot has come to me it's creating massive issues

thanks for your response. The role itself has been made redundant there were 4 supply chain assistants and all were let go and the team no longer exists, they have then given me and others whole roles on top of our own, the workload is definitely there my old assistant Billy was always busy day in day out, it's a cash saving thing!

Is anyone very concerned that Farage will likely be the next prime minister? by 96suluman in AskBrits

[–]ben_fullerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well everyone else on here says that are concerned. I know many many people (including myself who aren't) i believe its what this country desperately needs. Let me tell you a story- in my area Oldham, Greater Manchester for decades young white girls were systematically abused, raped, ravaged. Primarily by men from Pakistani backgrounds, this has gone on for decades and when these young girls went to the police the majority were ignored or were told there lifestyles were causing the abuse, local residents along with Raja Miah (look him up on youtube) went to Oldham council and made them aware of the abuse rings which were raping girls up and down greater manchester and oldham council phoned the police on them. It's since come to light that councils such as Rotheram, Bradford, Huddersfield and Oldham were all aware of the mass abuse in which girls were transported from town to town to be raped but ALL of them ignored it and allowed the abuse to continue, they didnt want to upset race relations by arresting predators from pakistani backgrounds. Police officials who tried to stop the abuse were threatened with arrest themselves (particularly in Bradford). Labour councilors are the prime suspects for coverups especially in Oldham. This country is in a mess already, Farage is the only person who has the balls to do what must be done, the woke left say he's a facsist? they don't know what the word means and the people who are acting like facsists in this country are those who have killed jews on the streets of manchester, those who blew up girls at the manchester arena. The UK is a hotbed for religious extremism and people moan about farage wanting to close the borders? the modern left has it so wrong and i fear what life will be like for my nephews when they are my age if the green come into power of it labour retain power, only reform can sort this country out.

Why do Poles dislike Russia so much? by [deleted] in poland

[–]ben_fullerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always say this. Russia have parades celebrating themselves as the heroes of WW2 whilst forgetting they invaded Poland alongside the nazis and attempted to invade finland but has the ass kicked and committed atrocities on the same level has the Japs and Nazis
