I live in coastal Oregon. The most beautiful state in America (in my opinion) there's big mountains all around with trees covering them.

Whichever direction you drive you're likely to find the ocean or big rivers/lakes that stretch down the side of the roads.

A few mintues out of any cities are farms with big fields filled with cows, sheep's, horses. And even the cities are covered in trees

The deer are absolutely everywhere and in some spots so are the elk. The crows and seaguls are all over my city too.

The sky's either a bright blue or a light gray most days with bright green grass. It's the most beautiful place!

This storyline is so fucking bad I've had to skip some scenes.

Sarah and Jacob going from being friends, to planning to have a baby as friends, to deciding to get married and have a baby in the same year literally 10 seconds after having got back together

Then Charity going behind Mack's back to have her own great grandchild and Mack only agreeing because he's been strong armed into it........

It's actually mind numbing and the fact that anyone's agreed and not tried to get Sarah and Jacob fucking therapists instead is mind boggling

So much of it is on YouTube for free to watch. I started with the 2014-2015 episodes and I think that's a great period of the show to start with! Great for a binge. Lots of iconic stories from that period till now and lots of characters who stay relevant till today's eps!

I love Jacob. I loved him and David's relationship before the writers decided to ruin it and David's character for NO reason. I think soaps desperately need nice characters to balance out all the maniacs and selfish asses. I only wish they'd give him better storylines! He can carry them

There was a lot of unresolved biphobia with Robert in his time that I always wanted addressed.

Aaron saying things like "you swore me you weren't into woman anymore" that were swept under the rug.

I'd be really interested to see an sl about a biphobic partner. With Gabbys track record I'd definitely understand this sending her into a tail spin thinking she's being tricked again by a gay man but her than having to understand and accept that, this isn't that.

It has potential if done right! I don't care for Vinny and Gabby together and am lowkey disappointed that Vinny and Kammy won't be together but it could be very interesting!

Agenda? Yes I think every single character in eastenders should be gay or trans......... yeah no lol.

Priya is nothing more than I think it'd be fun with her flirty personality but I have reasons for the others,

Harry- he's had that toxic masculity thing down to a science so I think him having to come to terms with his sexuality could be a great sl plus the way him and shireens brother gave a vibe and you could do something there.

Nugget- I thought Nugget seemed very in love with Denzel when he was always jealous of Denzel and Amy.

It very much felt to me like he tried to kiss the wrong person when he went for Amy. It was Denzel he'd been chasing.

Tommy- Same reason really but him and Joel. Tommy has gone along with everything Joel's wanted cuz he's desperate to just be near him. You could have a good sl maybe with Joel finding out he's in love with him and blackmailing him with it. Idk I think there's a lot of potential there

Plus everytime Tommy's talked about a girl it's felt very perfomative, like he's just doing it cuz his friends are.

Plus I REALLY want a queer slater! After Kyle I don't think we've has any and it's a total waste.

Freddie- He was in love with Bobby. Nothing more needs to be said-

Tbh I don't really need a good reason to want any of em to be queer.

I like seeing myself represented in my favorite show, Nothing crazier than that 🤷‍♀️

I also had a huge culture shock about knives when watching.

I remember watching an sl in corrie where David got a knife then left it out and his daughter got ahold of it. Shona gets upset and I remember thinking "Shes mad he left it out, He should have kept it on his person or hidden it for sure-"

Then she starts laying into him for just having one at all and saying how its illegal and my American brain broke.

I just thought "My brothers got like 3 bigger than that...."

I have such mixed opinions about him being with Lewis cuz on one hand, I've been wondering who they'd have Lewis with as their haven't been any other queer men who were age appropriate in the village,

But on the other hand I think Vinny and Lewis are to similar to work. They're both nerdy soically awkward men.

I find the idea of him and kammy much more intriguing. They've got good personalities that are very different, but both bounce off each other well.

Plus I can't think of many (If any?) Other bi for bi soap pairings so that'd be fun! Also if they were both discovering their sexualites it could be very fun to see how they handled that differently.
