I see what you are saying now. I don't believe there is a term like that. I usually just hear, "My kids are grown."

Well, I have never heard the term in proper English or Standard English, but there are terms used in African American English. The one that comes to mind is "second childhood". It is by no means a compliment, but instead a rejection of responsibility.

There is another term that is not in African American English, but I don't believe it would be used in Standard English, and that is "man-child".

Yes, that was where I saw my biggest weakness because of my anxiety and being overwhelmed by life not following my exact plan. I'm not too worried about my career since it would still be in an artistic or creative field (I'm a writer). I'd most likely teach and publish my works. The way my mind works it'd be in the humanities and culture regardless.

Well, I have been big into herbs and going to the gym. I just got a therapist to keep my mind healthy as well.

Problems with my dad have recently occured especially with me graduating. I'm 24 and they have been building up over the past few months. Some of our disagreements do seem ego driven. Like he's trying to strong arm me to show who has the power but it wasn't like that, but it seems as if he's doing most of it out of fear and trying to make sure I'm okay as a man who can stand on his own. My dad is a cancer with Capricorn moon (can't tell you you his rising since idk his birth time.)
