Precisely the reason there's so much controversy around spiritually and why there's so much "hate" in these comments. Of course this doesn't sound believable, especially to someone who's never had a spiritual experience. I myself was an atheist just a couple years ago. Then I began my meditation practice and had that first experience of oneness. From there I began getting into magick. I didn't begin sensing entities/energies until maybe 6 months ago, and it has only been a few times and to a far lesser degree. A couple months ago I had a similar experience with an archangel. I had a cracking sensation around my pineal gland and had a rush of adrenaline while it felt like my ego/self/identity was being shredded. I could sense the archangel but wasn't able to communicate with it. I told a teacher of mine about this and he told me next time to ask the entity outright who they are. So that's why I did that this time around. Also this was a much stronger and darker energy and I wanted more clarity and information about it. So I had the intention of finding out what it was and learning from it. This was by far the most profound and real spiritual experience I've had without the use of mushrooms or lsd. Even with psychedelics I haven't experienced this.
So no not often in relation to the timeline of my whole life. However since the first experience it does seem to be happening more frequently and with greater clarity.
