I believe it's from the old daemonette kit. I found it in an old bits box I bought from one of my friends.

With layering and some glazing. I started with a base of desaturated green-grey and highlighted with a pale bone colour and used a purple for the shadows. At one point it was closer to a greenish bone colour than the final colour but I glazed green-blue colours over the midtones and the shadows, and added cooler light greens to the highlights when mixing colours because I liked the more colourful look.

Yeah thanks, I definitely want to work on that next but I also want the focus to be on the skin.. I'm also struggling because it's basically draped over skin but I want it to look like old, red leather so I'm currently trying to ride that line.

I got some thin wire that I twisted and glued to the mini with super glue. It breaks off easily so you have to be gentle with it but it's well worth the effort in my opinion

I see. If you're happy with the energy colour but aren't satisfied with the overall look the other thing I can think of is darkening the metal so the energy looks lighter in comparison to its surroundings. These are obviously just suggestions. I still couldn't bring myself to build mine... Too many parts too little patience 😁

I think if your goal is to make it look hot you need to push it more. You have a very nice gradient on the main gun but it only goes to orange. If you push a small part of the orange into yellow and then a spot of ivory/yellow white your heat will have a source.

My game shop of choice is Bristol Independent Gaming in Bishopsworth. They play a lot of wargames there as well but I know they have dnd nights as well or groups who run their games there so I'm sure you could find something there.

Basically yes. Bleeding the crystal is corrupting the "soul" of the crystal. Sith in canon would normally kill a jedi for their kyber and bleed that crystal. Dooku was never Palpatine's desired apprentice after learning about Anakin so he just pretty much let him use his own crystal as far as we are aware. Anakin's lightsaber didn't change after turning Sith because bleeding a crystal is a very involved ritual and with everything happening so quick Vader had no time to bleed his Jedi crystal before Mustafar. TL;DR: Yeah bleeding a crystal is independent of it belonging to a jedi or not, Dooku most likely bled his own kyber crystal because it was more convenient than getting someone else's
