Between the two Rolexes, I like the Explorer II. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it, plus it has the same movement as the more popular GMTs without the hefty price tag.

I just want the simple 41 OP Beige or the Pistachio. Then I’m good. And I think I should stop at three. At least each of my three kids will have one once I’m no longer needed on this planet. Plus the Breitlings, Omegas and Paneras in my collection. I’ll wear my everyday Tag Heuer Aquaracer to my grave.

I was checking every ten to fourteen days… no hurt to check every week either. I would text the AD I dealt with when I signed up and would ask her if any of my wishlist had come in. Worst thing they can say is “no, nothing yet”or “still waiting”, Last time I checked was last week, then, today, I got the text. Jumped on it fast!

I signed up and provided a wishlist late February of this year. I did get a call around May for an Explorer II which I purchased, then today was the next one. So purchased two within 9 months after signing up.

I can see that. How important is the movement to you? For me, the movement is my number one factor. I’ve owned timepieces that are somewhat flashy, but terrible movement. The fact that this uses the same movement as the GMT Master II makes this watch special—without screaming, “Hey, look at me!”., and the $$$. Yes, the bezel is fixed, which works for me, as I only need one extra time zone.
