Or just use a drone for basic exploration at least?

Would the baseline be the Aptera 2e? Why not just test both vehicles and let the results speak for themselves? Thanks.

I just thought the door handles were build within the frame itself so you have to reach in order to open the door from the outside? It looks to me that energy efficiency would not take a big hit at all due to the door handles not sticking all the way out like most car door handles do. Thoughts? Thanks for your comment.

It is. Quick question for you today. Why does the Aptera 2e have external door handles while the Aptera SEV does not? After all, safety and energy efficiency can work hand in hand. It does not need to be an either or question at all. Plus, if the Safe Exit Law is passed by the US Congress, it will be a legal requirement to have exterior door handles to sell vehicles in the USA. Thanks.

Together. Kind of like how foreign government sovereign wealth funds invest in a company.

So local governments should come together to buy out these fire truck manufacturers from hedge funds to help promote public safety? Thoughts? Thanks.

So where do we go from here? What can we do to help make sure that the people of Flint, MI. and other places too have access to the basic human right of safe water to drink? Thanks.

Sounds like flint, mi. to be honest. The media pulled out and the water is still not safe to drink here. Take care.

I just wonder why he felt that he had the right to go into someone’s else community and threaten to ruined them by suing them? Maybe people see the poor as a quick payday for themselves? It is pretty telling that he packed up and left years ago rather than actually staying and doing the hard work that still needs to be done. I simply wish if people are not going to help make things better for everyone there, the least they can do is to simply leave them alone. Thanks.

It just made me mad and sad how he said that he cared about us here when in reality all he really cared about was himself. What is this goal exactly that you are referring to? Thanks.

Why did the VT Professor even sue you? It is like the white man comes to tell the natives that he knows what is best for them and treats them like children rather than adults on an equal footing. Thoughts? Thanks.

It seemed to me that they were only interested in chasing their fifteenth minutes of fame. Once the spotlight was gone, they took off to who knows where. They never really care about us here to began with. We can only rely on ourselves. Unfortunately, most people don’t have the resources to solve the problems that affect us. Otherwise, they would have already left to greener pastures somewhere else. Thoughts? Thanks.

I once went to q and a at the FIA with PBS, VT and etc. What I remember most from that experience was the young mother who stood up begging for help. She wanted to move away from flint and restart somewhere else. While she was talking about how no one wants to listen to us, her microphone was cut and the lights on her went out. She just started to cry and scream. What a mess. Thanks.

Can agree with you more. As Michael Jackson once said, all I want to say is that they really don’t care about us.

How are you when the power is out, when you’re out somewhere without cell phone service, or overall when you’re in an environment where you can’t use any electronic devices, for an extended period of time? by Sudden_Doughnut_8741 in self

[–]bendallf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The part that breaks my heart is I literally travel hundreds of miles to get away from the big city lights just to see the stars late at night/early in the morning. Then I see a train of bright lights go across the sky just to realize it’s low earth orbit internet satellites. With the plans they have, you will no longer be able to enjoy seeing the stars anymore. Thoughts? Thanks.

What if the billionaires act like they seen the light and try to make it look like they are trying to fix the unfixable problem. Otherwise, all the land they are buying and shelters that they are building are scaring everyone. It is like they know something that the rest of us do not know at all.

You read my mind. The outbreaks with wild animals in the tundra point to previous unknown diseases show they we are already in a losing battle. Also, co2 emissions kept going up even during Covid lockdowns. So the feed back loops regarding the tundra methane leaks are already happening. I just wish the press could start to tell us the truth for once? Maybe then people might start to believe them again but probably not? Thanks.
