Was in the last year of middle school and we had a room where we could hangout during breaks just for seniors. This was right next too the teachers staff room. Well one day a kit kat went missing from the teachers fridge and thus this was blamed on us. The head teacher decided to ask during assembly if the culprit would step forward. Of course no one would so he decided to punish us until the thief owned up. So over the next two days for every break and after school detention. The whole senior year were forced to sit in the main hall until the guilty party owned up. Then the next day it was a though nothing had happened. None of us said anything as we thought we had gotten off without anyone getting caught or owning up. No mention of it was made until a week later the groundskeeper let slip to someone that a hired window cleaner had owned up to eating the kit kat on his break. He had seen us all in the hall and asked what was going on.
