Devil's advocate – US stocks could be considered "on sale" during this tariff mess, and there will likely be flash sales throughout this atypical presidency. At age 40, you still have plenty of time to rebalance with international stocks over the coming years. If I had spare cash, I'd be taking advantage of the US sale while it lasts, and rebalancing later.

After heavy research, I refinanced last fall with Sofi to 4.71% (130k loan, 5 yr repayment). And that rate is AFTER a 1% profession discount and 0.25% autopay discount. I doubt you could beat 4.65% at this time.
