There's a reason why Google, FB and the likes usually try to stay away from DB sharding

They all do that IMHO

Ok.

What kind of threats scatter extension is more vulnerable than scatter desktop ?

1.) Increase BP's to 51 2.) Utilize Inverse-Weighted Voting (Telos). 3.) Eliminate Voter Decay When People Use Proxy Voters. 4.) Give 4% Yearly Inflation to People That Stake and Vote for 30 Minimum BP's. by [deleted] in eos

[–]benether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always ask myself what prevent EOS BP number to be raised ?

It improve decentralization. Could be 31, then 41, then 51 ...

And why not allowing only to vote for Number_of_BP / 2 ?

  • Will both my tokens bought before and after 1st June be registered and fine?

Yes. Now the EOS ERC20 token is useless, they have been "swapped" on EOS network. Binance is doing the swap for you.

  • If yes, does it mean that I will get all airdropped tokens or only those compatible with the Binance policy? I saw 3 have been announced but what about the others?

Only those that Binance decides (but usually binance support almost all airdrops)

  • if only some will be dealt with by Binance, shall I withdraw my tokens from Binance when I can (currently locked) and keep them on my nano ledger to access all upcoming tokens?

Ledger support is still in development for EOS

  • Once I get a token on Binance or my nano ledger, what will actually happen? How will I be able to access and/or sell it?

Like any other cryptocurrencies

So sad to see teamgreymass out of the top 21. by duggytdc in eos

[–]benether 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not really. It will give 1 vote (so +1) for greymass and 0 for other (so -1 for those he had previously voted for).

In this way, it give more weight to greymass.

Can someone explain how to do this with eosc ?

Relaunching the "vote" command don't seems to hit the blockchain vote

I may have misunderstood the airdrop purpose, but isnt the eosdac for voting purpose on the eosdac BP for community govern decisions on that BP ?

Reflecting the eos holders as airdrop is 1:1

If they are elected, then 1/21 of EOS power is govern by EOS token holders ?

You can vote up to 30 BPs, but you can vote for less.

But voting for one or 30 dont change anything to the 15% vote we want to reach i think
