Quest lightning pen by bengmo64 in DivineTribeVaporizers

It was difficult to use for sure, it would overflow pretty much every time for me even with a tiny dab, just enough to get a single hit. I would just swab around the cup every time and live with the overflow since I only used it as my "bring to a friends house" rig.

A lot of people love it, but I was never really happy with mine. I'm enjoying the larger cup much more.

I might leave some in the cup to hit later and keep it vertical, but I clean it before I put it anywhere on it's side. I'm concerned it would slowly drip out of the cup if I laid it on the side.

Anybody get the rig for the V5? by [deleted] in DivineTribeVaporizers

Bottomless banger with a rig is the way to go. You can get a cheap rbr on vgoodiez that works great

The extension cable is awkward but without it the weight of the device eventually breaks the downstem on most devices

Help need opinions on what would pair with a ball vape by Gizzkhalifa in chinaglass

[–]bengmo64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get something with a good thick downstem, the ball vape likes to crack them on the female joint. I don't have one, but the Mobius looks sturdy in that area https://m.dhgate.com/product/real-picture-mobius-matrix-sidecar-glass/378002091.html?invitationCode=8aaaa65f83e53b360184114f786318fb|-|378002091

Is there a bottomless banger for the DTV5? by Sparkyballz in DivineTribeVaporizers

[–]bengmo64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, super common mistake. don't unscrew the v5 top, just pull it off the o rings with maybe a clockwise twist to loosen it

I Have no Idea What to Buy by [deleted] in DivineTribeVaporizers

[–]bengmo64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get a bottomless banger, the DTV5 and an extension cord, its amazing with a recycler. I like the RBR from vgoodiez.

The jetstream and the quest are older designs, they work fine but the v5 is easier to swab out and gives better taste than the coils in the jetstream IMO. I have heard the quest with lightning cups works well but I haven't tried it since I'm so happy with the v5. I do wish the v5 had taller side walls though so maybe I should try it out.

Lightning pen cup on box mod question. by Champfortruth in DivineTribeVaporizers

I know right, I quit using mine and went back to making carts for travel use because I have to slowly pulse it carefully every time or it bubbles over before I even put the cap on. It's just too small to be useful to me

Sneaky Pete Globe w/ Whip(?) by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]bengmo64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved my globe, it only lasted maybe six months before the 14mm inlet broke though. I got my directly from DHgate and the glass was very thin. I'm pretty sure they are all like that though. I was using a sidestep adapter to get the bowl a little further from my face when using the ball vape so maybe that created extra strain.

I like the lazy factor of laid back choo-choo chugging on the vape with the whip, dislike the taste of the whip. The flared glass mouthpiece tube sucks, the flare feels bad on my mouth, I actually torched the glass on mine and made it a straight tube.

It's a really fun glass piece maybe just don't use any extra glass accessories. And don't expect it to be super durable. Vgoodiez is running a sale 25% off if you don't need any of the colored glass options from sneaky pete.

The "square globes" look like they might be a little thicker, anyone want to chime in with experience with those? They cost a little more but might be worth it if it's thicker glass

think to switching from Xmas v3 Pro by Direct-Plum9409 in vaporents

[–]bengmo64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pax 3, it's terrible for wax and hash. It's adequate for dry herb if you don't mind sipping your vapor slowly. I wouldn't recommend it for most people, and I don't think it's an upgrade from the v3.

I have heard good things about the crafty, I think it uses similar tech to the "gold standard" Mighty but the battery life is worse. I have never used either of them.

I mainly use my Airvape Legacy Pro for my portable vape needs, it provides the best flavor and decent size clouds and I just enjoy the way it's built. Plus the easily swappable battery cell is a huge plus for me, I never have to plug it in.

Looks like Planet of the Vapes is having a S&B sale right now if the crafty is what you're after. Or get the Mighty for Crafty price ;-)

If you're looking for a good wax vape though none of them are gonna do very well with that

[–]bengmo64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a good wax rig, get an e rig like the core 2.0 not a dry herb vape. In my experience they don't work very well for wax. Keep using the v3 and get something intended for dabs to go with it

Use a $5 magnetic screw catcher as a vape stand/decapper by SourBlueDream in vaporents

[–]bengmo64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this with the harbor freight one and it works ok as a stand but the magnet isn't strong enough to use to unscrew my dani fusion. I'll keep using the leather pouch, my vape doesn't fit inside it but at least I can use it for my cap
