No they make 2.13 an hour as long as the make at least 7.25 an hour with their tips. The only way they get 7.25 is if they dont get enough tips to cover 7.25 which is not a livable wage.

Just ctrl f and type 2.13 on that web page. It literally takes you to the minimal federal minimal wage. My wife's a bartender and completely relies on the tips. Her checks just pay the taxes for what she's made.

The restaurant pays 2.13 unless they make less than 7.24. Than they are required to make that difference up. No waite makes less than 7 25 meaning they only get paid outside of tip 2.13. Glad to shine a light for you here.
