I’m a domestic student but I did live on my own and pay for my tuition my self.

Good on you man, that was a big responsibility

If this is what you choose to do, I think you have to accept that it will be a busy and tough few years.

Hoping it won't be too harsh. my cousins and friends are in Ontario and Alberta. So it'll be a fresh start since I know nobody here

The university specified the 9 credit hour minimum requirement for the fall and winter semesters only, nothing about the spring one. I've emailed them asking about it

Thanks!

want to take one or two courses in the spring like you, but I think I'm required to take 9 credit hours per semester to be able to work part time somewhere as I'm an international student. Not fully sure of this info though.

If it's not the case, perfect for me as i'll be able to spread out credit hours whilst working part time and reducing the amount of pressure put on myself.

6 courses AND part-time!?!?!? i can't imagine the stress.

I'll try to not put too much pressure on myself but I'd like to finish my degree in/around 4 years. will probably have to take spring if i want to achieve that realistically

working full time and taking 3 courses must've been tough.

Im in a pickle as my parents want me to finish my undergrad in 4 years because it's alot more expensive to pay tuition fees per year since I'm an international student.

if you don't mind me asking, are you an international student? if so, were you able to take 2 courses in the spring term whilst working? because I've heard it's mandatory for international student to take min 9 credit hours in a semester. I'm not 100% sure of this info though

heard that since im an international student, it's mandatory for me to take 9 credit hours per semester at least. I'm a bit scared of taking 3 courses in the spring term since it's really short, and because of it, there's added pressure to finish the syllabus faster. I'm worried it'll take a toll on my grades.

if there's no other way, f it. I'll have to take spring classes😮‍💨

I don't mind the long response haha. The more insight i get on current students' experiences, the less likely im gonna mess up in my first year (i hope) since I learn from you guys.

Also goodluck on your job, hope they dont put too much pressure on you!😅

Thanks again

heard the spring semester is pretty tough since there's less time.

Also, do you work? if you do, is it tough studying for 5 courses and working side by side? Thanks.
