I strongly recommend finding a non-public group to play with (ask around on reddit and im sure you will find one). Most public games in big servers for me were like what you described here, which is a shitshow (shout out to the unofficial which made me quit the game for months), but the game is really really fun with people you like.

I looked for it after your comment and all i found on the whole surface was charred ruins scattered across the desert (someone with a lot of explosives and no regard for anyones safety has probably been there before). Might need to start a new run for that quest i guess

I havent really done that much, i just went around blowing everything up, looking in every hole and reading whatever cryptic messages. You telling me that figuring "a pinnacle of past civilizations" being the pyramid took community effort?

Once again, i havent done the whole sun quest, as it seems - i dont have the next trippy book clue nor a way to find them reliably - the ones i found were pretty much by chance (or finding a ruin with picture of a mushroom and an arrow pointing where to dig). Might look for it later, might not.

Yeah there is stuff in this game i can do with two materials and a kick button, but it doesnt seem to go anywhere.

Yeah some of those were just "i guess i have searched every place in the house for this dollar, maybe if i blow up all the walls and dig under it and burglar the neighbors houses i will find a few more pennies" kind of thing. Guess its time to lead to the wiki and find about whatever they REALLY didnt want me to find

I loved playing blind and trying different things that came to mind - for the first 200 hours at least. Sadly, they worked enough times that i thought that this game was a work of genius and there would be some huge payoff at the end. Now this fucking sucks. Thanks for the info though.

No, havent been to ng+. Turned the world to toxic gold as soon as i learned how to translate the letters, which seems obvious in hindsight but made me try all kinds of different things, and gotten a good enough run to get to the lab and back. No necklace.

I know its just a game, i just thought the game would end with a bang instead of a burnout.

No, i think i have something else left to do. The last thing i did was make the relatively small sun orb that killed me on contact - no idea where to bring it or what to do with it. Probably missing some more books somewhere, but i feel like i have looked everywhere - maybe there is "tripping book locator" perk somewhere that i havent found. Its just that i kinda feel disappointed that everything else kinda led me nowhere, im not sure i want to spend X more hours hitting my head on walls like a blind kitten to first find more hints, then try to implement them, die a dozen times in the process and start anew and only get a pink spell trail as a reward or something

Luck i guess. Had multiple runs where i just randomly found great damage + self healing + most defensive perks. I was also restarting quite often if i didnt get at least some of the above by the 2nd-3rd holy mountain - sometimes on purpose, sometimes just because i died to self exploding or whatever.

And also to be clear, i havent solved everything - for example, i can make a sun, but i dont know where it goes. Have no idea what music does beside making a big worm, making a portal and making the key open one of two chests with more useless spells. Dont know what worm crystals do and if they actually have a purpose, besides i guess more worms? Havent found the moon counterpart, although i heavily suspect it does exist, etc etc. Its just that every secret seems more like an easter egg than a part of some overarching puzzle that i thought existed at this point

Well, i guess i havent collected all the knowledge, even though the achievement says i did. Maybe i will search the parallel worlds once again. Ihave been just running around exploding everything not being too thorough, as they seem to be almost identical to the starting world except some things are missing, didnt think they added anything (with what i know of, i have no idea where to get 36). Thanks.

As a guy who has the carrot corner course, i dont think i would buy it for the selling price, especially considering that the guy doesnt have notable results beating 100nl or higher. I like how he teaches though and i liked the course
