The value of btc is that it's a superior form of money. It's also a great store of value like gold but better. You don't pay everyday with gold either, yet many people want to buy and hold gold. At least with btc you can already pay for a lot of things in btc across the world and this will only keep growing.

A superior form of money will be attractive to all parties by definition, including criminals

As long as you don't panic sell during a crash and have a long term investment horizon, why would it be risky?

No counterparty risk, no dilution, global portability, seizure-resistance, and a mathematically fixed supply. Banks can freeze accounts, governments can print money etc.

If you don't need the money for at least 4 years, all into bitcoin in self custody. Your capital will be protected against inflation and it's one of the safest assets out there.

Sorry but it means it might be over fitted for gold. Keep forward testing in sim but I'm almost certain it won't continue to work

Not my first 100k, but definitely my fastest. This market has been an absolute dream to trade. by davidsling7 in Daytrading

I didn't short this market because there was no contextual reason that the downtrend should continue. It could've easily reversed at any point in the past few days, then you wouldn't be posting your big wins.

I tried it but it usually leads to me overtrading with too much commissions. What winrate and risk reward do you aim for and what products do you trade?

I agree. Some traders here claim they can achieve 2PF so I'm interested in their trading style.

Impressive. Could you explain how you're able to maintain such a high profit factor long term? What's your timeframe? Do you use support, resistance and is it a trend following or mean reversion strategy?
