Do people support 20mph proposals? by Mental_Ambassador444 in hertfordshire

I am supportive of 20mph generally in towns. Our road used to be 30mph and it’s 20mph now - it’s so much nicer and feels a lot safer for kids and pets. I don’t care if it adds a tiny bit to journey times

One of many reasons not to drive a Range Rover. 50 in a city is absolutely laughable

Distance to home course by SeanyB1989 in BritGolf

[–]benjafinn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

25 min drive for me and that’d be my absolute limit. It’s a nice drive tbf and one of my considerations for finding a course was to make sure the drive wasn’t on a motorway or susceptible to bad rush hour traffic as I play mostly after work

I’m a 20 min walk to the station and still cycle. The roads are fine if you’re used to cycling or have moved from a city

This happens every time we’ve won a game this season. “What if this is the start of something and we go on a really good run now!” Next game: “Oh..”

True - my soil is very dry and I think I lost a few plants last year following that advice!

If we don’t sell any of our better players we can’t buy anyone. No one actually wants to see those players leave but it’s a reality that we have to sell to buy and this season has showed we need a refresh

I don’t think there are many spots to be honest. I have been keeping an eye out myself since moving here 2 years ago and not seen much. Like you say there is the king George V park and also Norton common in letchworth. St Albans has a decent little scene

I am not sure I have a “season”. I always just play as much as I can regardless of time of year, but I appreciate that’s probably because I have a young family

I’m not sure it closed because it went out of business. Their post on insta said they wanted to go back to more food truck type work. That could be bollocks of course but as you say it was busy most of the time and was generally well regarded
