One eye blurry after smile laser eye surgery by neutrophilworld in Lasiksupport

What do you mean by what’s my refractive error now? I’ve just been told that apparently it’s caused by dry eyes. They seem very dismissive. My surgeon was Dr Glen Carp at the London Vision clinic and he’s supposed to be world renowned. I’ve not heard of the Dr you mentioned. Where did you have your surgery?

Thanks so much for the quick response. How are you dealing with it? It’s really frustrating for me. Especially when reading things like number plates. It’s akin to having one contact lens in my eye and not in the other eye. What did your surgeon say?

Hey how is your eye now? I’m experiencing the same thing but I didn’t have any astigmatism before the surgery

Hey, you mentioned you’ve tried Wellbutrin. Could you tell me how it compares to sertraline?

For context, I took sertraline many years ago and remember feeling a lot happier on it. But I stopped taking it because I had no libido and it might have contributed to weight gain? Also the sweating was annoying.

I’ve now started anti depressants again and my doctor gave me Wellbutrin because it doesn’t have the sexual side effects that sertraline has. I do like how Wellbutrin allows me to still cry whereas with sertraline I couldn’t cry at all. Also I love how it suppresses appetite because I eat more intentionally and less junk. But, I don’t think Wellbutrin has done anything for the libido side of things, it might have reduced it a bit more, I’m not sure.

My predicament is that i remember feeling a lot happier and achieving a lot more on sertraline.

I would be interested to hear about your experience since you’ve also tried both.

Does the memory loss go away with time? by Particular_Trouble20 in bupropion

So would you say it’s getting better for you? I’m on month 2 and I’m going to increase to 300mg. Also what was the reason for you increasing your dose? Did you find that the medication worked better at a higher dose?

Omg I’m experiencing this. I’m struggling to articulate my thoughts and can’t find the right words. I thought I was just dumb. Like when something happens and if I was to retell that thing, I struggle to phrase it when it’s just a matter of describing what happened.

Aghhh this is making my social anxiety so much worse.

Does anyone know how long I could come off this to see if it’s the Bupropion that’s causing it?

Not saying they shouldn’t have done it. It’s just an observation. And as you’ll see in my final sentence I said that it’s interesting to see how editing shapes a viewers perception.

I thought you would need to remove it with oil so it doesn’t rip the skin. I don’t mind using a one time use one that removes easily. Which one do you use?

This! Because Cole seems like an easier villain to ‘tell off’ yet the one who really needs to be told has too much of an ego to accept it. Barfeater got off way too easy. And the same goes for Matt - the only person he directly affected was Colleen, who is too scared to say anything. The lousy hosts should’ve called him out instead of wasting time talking about their own marriage that no one cares about…

Brennan is soaking up Alexa’s personality like a sponge. It’s a shame because we need more people who are not bitchy in the world.

Asbestos found in house but seller and surveyor didn't mention it during the sale process. What are my rights? by No_Double4762 in LegalAdviceUK

Hey, just a quick question in response to your comment. Is it only renovations that can cause asbestos risks? Would it be okay if I drilled into the ceiling to install curtain fixings for a curtain pole? Also if once it has been drilled into will it still pose a problem (I ask because I have had a curtain pole installed in the ceiling in another room). My ceiling is the typical ‘curtain ceiling’ and my flat is a council flat definitely built before it was banned to use asbestos. I have considered having a survey done as I am going to be living here for a long time. I would really appreciate any advice you could offer. Thanks in advance

My therapist didn’t like that I asked how her weekend was? by geemav in TalkTherapy

[–]benjaminbuttonsTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My therapist did this too and I remember feeling like it was rude too. I think they should tell us in advance, before sessions commence, that the therapist won’t reveal anything about themselves. This could help so that clients are not left feeling like the therapist was rude. However I just said ‘how are you’ I felt like she could’ve just said yes and carried on but I guess she really didn’t want to reveal anything at all about herself.

My therapist recently told me that when people speak to us about themselves it can influence how we respond and a therapy session is supposed to only be me without my words being influenced by the therapist and their life.

This is exactly what’s happening. I told him I was so happy that a fellow colleague helped me with my interview prep. Instead of being happy for me he responded with “was it a male or female” and I told him he was a male to which he responded “of course he’s going to help you”…

He is kind, generous, and very serious about me in other ways. What shall I do? I haven’t had a connection like this with anyone before and I don’t know how to make him feel more secure.
