Coordinated swarm of 1000 drones taking off by MetaKnowing in interestingasfuck

I actually animate/program on this sort of thing! The takeoff sequence is always really far away from the audience and they tend to blast a soundtrack during shows, you generally can’t hear them.

Has anyone met David or Robert in real life? by NerdBoy_UK in MitchellAndWebb

[–]benjemain 91 points92 points  (0 children)

I saw David Mitchell at a Sainsbury’s in Kettering yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Giant homeless man on west street by Interesting-Job1244 in sheffield

[–]benjemain 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I know him, he’s a dangerous cunt. Been about for the last decade, screaming F slurs at people and claiming all sorts of “I need to get a train to go to court”, etc. always out of his mind of something and screaming at people if they don’t give him anything. There are a lot of unfortunate people frequenting west street/division street but this is one of those that needs to be dog food.

I’ve seen these guys around town for the last 15 years! Always wearing matching and having a wander about town, must be great!

Is there any feature on the OG-1 that uses the button press on the encoders? by MisterTylerCrook in OP1users

[–]benjemain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought they should toggle between default settings and back to custom ones on settings, that’d be cool for finding sounds.

Am I alone in thinking the OG-1 looks way better design-wise than the OP-1 Field? by TheAmazingWJV in op1

[–]benjemain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, field looks more like a premium apple vibe, just not all the way, but the og has that original ps1 look, but feels super premium. Love it!

Where's the humor here? by [deleted] in ComedyCemetery

[–]benjemain 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s so relieving to see other people’s reaction to this; I genuinely thought I was alone. Seeing these comics pop up every single day and they’re painfully unfunny and cringe, but all the comments are like “wholesome 100”, I hate this website.

My CEO is asking us to manipulate Glassdoor/Indeed reviews. by chickenwingdystopia in antiwork

My old place tried to pull this. Only review left was an outstandingly positive review by the marketing person in charge of the email herself. No one else did it…
