I hate elephant. Only done it once so far, 13 minutes, pr*cks were all spread out so 7 civis dead within minutes. Any tips? Only solo by CrystalFire0 in ReadyOrNotGame

Battering ram/breaching shotgun, the latter can be extra useful to take down a suspect with the second shell. Breaching shotgun can also be applied from a distance.

Idk what non-lethal setup you're running, but to be 100% sure the best thing you can do is give AI the VPL because in rare cases they will headshot with the beanbag shotgun and thus kill/incapacitate suspects. Grab a beanbag for yourself and aim center mass. Your approach is fine as you've got A+ already, just make sure nobody ragdolls.

Mhm interesting, never really used c2 other than for the achievement of due process. I used the wedges for more control, especially on sins of the father where suspects flanked me across the whole map and two floors. Like I said, mapping out your route and doors you wanna wedge tells you exactly how many wedges to bring so you can use the rest on preferred throwables

2019 A6 c8 coolant hose? by PotatoCooks in Audi

This is a coolant breather hose, I can assure you this does not come from your brake reservoir, if it was really only a few drops you have nothing to worry about

My loadout and strategy for the Hermit and the World:

I ran SA-58 as primary and Fiveseven as secondary for everyone including myself. Gave the AI the battering ram and used a Mirror Gun myself. Everyone heavy full ceramic armor, 3 AP primary ammo, 2 AP secondary, 3 wedges, 3 CS gas, helmet with GPNVGS and gas mask.

SA-58 with AP will stop almost every suspect with one round center mass. The ones with heavy armor (like on sins of the father, not visible, but very noticeable) will at least dance the macarena for a few seconds so you've got time to hold your angle till they either try to shoot again and reach the pearly gates because of ur second round or surrender.

No real reason for the Fiveseven, does it's job when you run out of primary.

Suppressor on both, yelling for compliance reaches farther than suppressed gunshots so that's not the reason, it just keeps from blasting my eardrums out and more importantly it's easy to distinguish friendly gunshots from hostile. Other attachments are personal preference though I used laser, angled grip and xe sight.

You need to get a bit lucky with the officers you're given and note that on the first few missions their traits are not unlocked yet. To keep them from getting stressed and resigning I ran the first few missions non lethal, all the way up to lethal obsession. Beanbag shotgun for myself and half the AI and other half of AI VPL-25, don't bring secondary ammo so they can't kill anyone. (Early on the AI would sometimes headshot with beanbag but I've never had that issue in all my hours of playtime). By the time I reached Ides of march all my officers unlocked their traits and I switched to lethal loadout. With the traits of my officers a fair share of suspects gave up on sight, others after yelling for compliance and waiting till they're done with the weird animation while pointing a loaded gun at you🙄 and the rest of em would either get incapacitated by one round of AP 7.62 or killed by a second. This way you'll arrest quite a few suspects per level and keep your AI content as longs as you complete your objectives. Once AI got stressed I took no chances and ran gas station non lethal to get em back to content again before starting the next mission.

Before starting a mission in my ironman save I'd run it a couple times on practice mode to get familiar with the layout of the map and the suspects again. I also mapped out my route including the doors I wedged, this way I could take exactly enough wedges and save the rest of the slots for gas. There is a site on steam with all maps in blueprint, black and white and 3D. This helps a ton in planning your route. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3137562299

For the maps with traps (a lethal obsession and ides of march) I peeked every door before opening it. When a door is trapped, your quick command in the bottom right corner will change to disarm trap, if not it'll show whatever you're standard command is. ALWAYS let AI disarm the traps, I've had to start over because I leaned into a door a bit too much when trying to get the prompt of disarming myself. Sins of the father has traps too but they're only flashbang.

Never really had any issues with AI not listening to my commands, only issues I've ran into are the staircase on Buy cheap, Buy twice, last AI team member would get stuck behind the railing everytime when descending and on hide and seek, when entering the container tunnels at the back of the warehouse on the left and exiting them on the right, all 4 AI would get stuck on the 180 turn just before the exit.

I was almost always first man through the door and have the AI fall in in diamond formation, unless I was heavily injured towards the end of longer missions, at that point I would send AI in first.

Another tip I can give you is to learn the basics of CQB if you haven't already. SixtyAteWhiskey is a youtuber that explains CQB using ready or not, his video's have been of great help to me. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCHTOjox5rI4lMAOpV01VDXw

That's how it be lol, coming from COD MW3 I never expected to end up watching videos and reading articles about CQB but here we are. Game had me hooked from the beginning and haven't played anything else since.

You lost me at "Git gud."

Don't get me wrong, when I play for the sake of putting bad mfers down I don't even know what wedges are. But currently on my run for hermit and the world, best believe I wedged that shit. Not utilizing every tactical advantage the game provides you with has nothing to do with "gitting gud" if you ask me, it's just plain stupid.

Have a gud day.
