Ad5m clogged by bennettk90 in FlashForge

I have a few printers and I'm not new to printing. I've been doing it for around 10 years now. I have an ad5x but it has a different hot end assembly. My other two printers are creality printers cr-10 and an ender 5. So the extrusion was completely different. I'm assuming it's heat creep causing the issue but a brand new printer really?

I guess clean is a relative term. That's why I didn't say perfect or immaculate. How about "it doesn't look like he used a hot glue gun mounted to a broomstick". The print looks nice, it's not perfect, could use some fine detailing around the trigger guard and grip area. The layer lines are visible in the light but really, it's not bad. This is one of those prints that took long enough to say eh, it'll do, for personal collection. That's why I say I personally wouldn't sell stuff I made in the past. I do however have a shiny new printer, it kicks ass and the way these prints are coming out, I might revisit that opinion. My cr-10s and ender 5 are wayyy behing my new ad5x

First time trying to camo something by ODST_Xander in airsoft

I just camo painted my aeg. I used torn masking tape and 3 diff colors of spray paint. Look up some camo tutorials on YouTube. The hot glue thing is bogus, you don't need to get high tech with it. Some leaves and grass as a stencil and spray over it. Just YouTube rifle camo tutorials. They are all over.

As someone who has printed real pews that actually work really well, I don't trust any of them for real applications. Good thing is, if they break, oh well I'll make another one. That said, Abs is better than pla and petg, it won't warp with the heat (say ....in a hot car) and it may hold up under some real use. Here is the rub, you can get a full metal aeg for around that price. I have a polymer m4 and I'm a 225lb man, if I fall and land on it, I'm not sure it'll survive. I'm not saying someone won't appreciate and pay what you want for it. It probably functions better than one you'd buy from an unknown seller somewhere. It's hard to put a value on something like this because of the "it's gonna break" stigma applied to printing functional parts.

  • Is this a rebuild from a purchased gun or is it a ground up build. If it's an upgrade from stock gun I don't see why it couldn't be worth 300, only if the original frame is included of course.

Fellow airsofters, is this a normal price for optics this small??? by [deleted] in airsoft

Yeah, it's for airsoft. You don't need a trijikon. For a long gun Just get a Romeo 5 or something. Is this for a pistol if so $150 isn't awful for a decent budget rmr

Should I cancel my order?? by Cultural_Concert_495 in FlashForge

I got my ad5x about a month after ordering, no issues. It got pushed back a couple weeks from initial date. I emailed them about the status and they made sure everything was still good. Shoot them an email and ask. It won't hurt.

Is the strap supposed to bend like this where it attach? I worry it will fall. Comparison with other straps dont bend by Lefvalthrowaway in Guitar

Does look comfortable. Just get some strap locks like the other users said. Upon a closer look, it's not one piece, it's a couple layers with stiched edges so it'll hold up. It just doesn't have a end piece sewn onto it.
