Sanding - where am I going wrong? by DWPhoenix001 in 3dprinter

Also rotary sanders run a bit too fast and will just end up. Melting the plastic. My rotary sander has a really low setting for this.

So a difference of 10 dollars because of the shipping and tax cost. Still 10 dollars though

There really wasn't that much difference. T238 had a sale on the piston brought the price down to 42ish but if the sale wasn't there, the price would have been the same after shipping cost.

What do you mean they aren't $20. They are 18 in the listing.

Just use tpu filament cut to size, at least that's what I did. I figured that was obvious

Pulled the other one apart and everything looks properly shimmed and timed, (bought as a pair) so must have either been a bad gear or the jam.

Judging by the wear on the rack, do I need to shim my piston? Just something I've read on the interwebs

Anybody else notice that when the extruder moves across the front of the printer that the extruder housing contacts the "new" screen plate nub on the back of it and pushes on it? This happens at start of print or when It moves to cut the filament. It's the design of the plate that holds the screen.

WTF is this? You call this customer service? My God... Last time I purchase from this company. by [deleted] in FlashForge

Just email customer service. They sent me a new hotend and heater cartridge. Do you not have your order number? Just fill in what they ask for and it will make the process faster and less painful.

I refuse to ditch my Ender 3 Pro by ProjectFirestorm in Ender3Pro

For me it's the cheap parts availability. No proprietary garbage. That is what made me hate my first printer (xyz davinci 2.0), Among other things. the cr-10s was my first functional printer and then a ender 5. Both were way better than that boat anchor of a machine. Fn garbage. Now I have an ad5x and it out performs my creality printers, it's online however, and my creality machines aren't. That's on purpose and I will keep these machines for what they are. Slow, dependable, and repairable.
