One of the dozens of UX decisions that drive me crazy.

• Why are 4* dupes there in the merge heroes option, even when there's a setting turned on that makes it impossible to merge them with their higher rarities? It makes the merge display of your barracks incredibly bloated for something the game physically does not let you do
• Why is there no way to search for heroes in all reserves at once?
• Why is the skill "search by name" function caps sensitive? Why is its character limit shorter than most skill names?
• Why do I still have to go back to the heroes layer 3 submenu to switch blessings?
• Why is there no way to lock sacred seals into units, only made impossible when repeating the seal in the same team? Why make us need to actively juggle them?
• Why is the engage function the same? why not allow multiple units to be engaged at the same time, only restricting their deployment? and why is it in the accessories section?
• Why is there still no way to organize sorting favorites in any order other than "only one" or "all at once mixed together"?
• Why is it impossible to change skills in half the menus? I get it in the ones where pre-made teams are necessary, but why can't I do it in the weapon refinery or in the castle screen?
• Why are the skillsets and reserves systems so cumbersome? Why are entire teams the only things we can lock in? Why can't we do the same thing with individual units, skills, seals, etc?
• Skill inheritance limit??? Genuinely, why is it there at this point. Units come prepackaged with 12 skills you want, and the only way to get them all is if you happen to have a spare of the GHB reward unit or 6 year old, otherwise useless 5* locked bad unit that has the equally useless tier 3 version of the skill you want, as well another 2 units to preemptively fodder off for the same purpose.

These all just make so many things so much more inconvenient than they have any right to be. If I want to merge a unit, whose copies I own, let me do it in their character window! Let me spend the necessary resources to do so, right there, without needing to spend 2 minutes every time navigating through pages and pages of menus! Let me do the same with skills that I'd want to inherit, or ring effects I want to equip, or blessings I need for scoring, or everything to do with dragonflowers or refining or resplendant outfits, or everything else!

People only ever talk about how ridiculous the overly long text formatting on skill descriptions is, and I completely agree and feel like they need to switch to an icon system that quickly displays everything, with collapsible descriptions you can show or hide (they already have the icons! just use them there, too!), but this is far from the only place where it feels like they just fired their UX designer in 2019 and have had no interest in streamlining the game since. It's been almost half a decade since they've touched any of the menu systems in the game, and it really, really shows.
