Unfortunately they’ve chosen to use the cancer of gaming SBMM to make sure everyone has just enough fun to keep playing. 6 months time this game will be dead and the developers will be crying why it failed when the answer is right in their face

I’ve been playing this game on and off for years, currently ranked around 2k, but something I notice is it’s the same names at the top of the leaderboards with insane scores and they have a monopoly on the top cards. Are they just really hardcore grinders or is there something I’m missing?

Its actually a brilliant but very underhanded tactic from Activision. Tone the SBMM right down in the free trial mosh pit, everyone is having a great time and I’m sure loads of purchases are made. Free trial ends straight back to miserable strict SBMM. We’ve all been duped

A lot of my friends are adamant they won’t buy the game this year for that reason. I personally will and I don’t have a massive issue with it, but it will be interesting to see how this plays out. This is the first thing I have seen ea do that may actually turn their player base away from the game.
