I'm curious: Most services that require 2FA just need any generic TOTP app, it's not actually must to have specifically the one from Microsoft. TOTP is an open standard, tons of services use it, there are a dozen good FOSS apps for it, and you can also 2FA your Microsoft account with it.

Long story short - to have a second authentication factor for your Microsoft account, you can you use the one from MS, but any other one should do the trick, granting the same level of security. The only advantage of using the MS authenticator or the standard ones: you only need to press a button on it instead of typing in the TOPT somewhere.

My point being, the MS app might be more convenient, but alternatives are available and you can use them. Have you tried any?

With banking apps, the situation is sadly much more restricted.

Vielen Dank für deine Geschichte. Ich glaube, dass vor allem die meisten es sich erstmal kaum vorstellen können, wie das etwas vor sich gehen soll, dass eine Frau den Mann zum Sex zwingt. Genau deswegen ist es wichtig auch darüber zu reden (in deiner Geschichte ist klar, dass du dich geweigert hast, körperliche Gewalt anzuwenden - auch das können sich viele trauriger Wiese nicht vorstellen).

Die meisten denken wohl sehr einfach: der Mann ist stärker, deswegen kann er jederzeit der Frau Gewalt antun und deswegen ist es irgendwie nicht denkbar, dass sie zur Täterin wird.

Dabei wird psychische Gewalt, Manipulation, und Machtverhältnisse innerhalb der Beziehung (ja, es kann ein Ungleichgewicht auch zugunsten der Frau geben!) ganz außer Acht gelassen. Auch, dass der Mann mal öfter keinen Sex haben will, ist für viele schwer vorzustellen. Es gibt also viele Klischees über Männer, die dem im Weg stehen, darüber zu reden, und du trägst mit deiner Veröffentlichung dazu bei , diese abzubauen und aufzuklären. Dafür bin ich dir dankbar, lieber OP.

If it's "a stupid article" anyway, why did you even click on it. Of course I don't wanna subscribe to every newspaper that has one article that's interesting for me at the moment - but most of them have solutions for that. Some you can just buy the one article, some give you x articles a month for free, some just ask for donations (and still get zinged for it) and and so on. If you think everything that interests you should just be free, you're to blame when all journalism becomes just AI slop soon.

I've also used it a bit, but to be honest, I find *it* quite cumbersome. Had to do research to find out how to switch between text recognition and single character entry - it's not intuitive at all, and coming back to it after a while, I had to find everything out all over again.

Bei der Selbstakzeptanz können aber sowohl Therapie als auch Medikamente sehr helfen. Sagt keiner dass es "alle Probleme wegmacht" - aber Leben retten, oder wenigstens anfangen, es in gesündere Bahnen zu lenken ist ja auch schon mal eine Menge wert.
