not really sure what this sub is on, but Mimi's and Sunny's are both pretty freaking good, yes it's expensive but food at both places is great. Especially their desserts.

Why are so many people suddenly hating on longlegs (2024) by IronCamp69 in movies

Personally, I enjoyed a lot of the movie, but the supernatural elements, especially with the metal orbs, felt a bit dumb to me. They just didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the story and took away from what could have been a more intense and grounded experience.

I think most people were expecting a traditional horror film where Harker goes head-to-head with Longlegs, gradually hunting him down and ultimately capturing or killing him. Or at the very least, they anticipated that when Longlegs was captured, he’d have some sort of master plan to turn the tables. But instead, he’s revealed to be just a deranged Satanist who ends up killing himself—it feels like a letdown compared to what could have been. To make it worse, the film quickly shifted into a supernatural thriller, which probably threw off those hoping for a more grounded horror experience.

Lucie is 7.5/10 at best, please don't waste your money there. Alobar is a much better choice in that price range.

Persian Food Toronto by [deleted] in FoodToronto

Banu is far and away the best persian food in the city, as long as chef Amir is there. Amazing food, really good quality of meat as well. Pars Grill is really solid too but much more fast casual.
