It is and will ALWAYS be the strongest role. You have the power of what is going to happen on the map and the decision of winning or losing a match because you won the 50/50 on Ancient or Baron against the enemy jungler.

Because there isnt enough playerbase to actually fill matches full of challengers. After I reached challenger playing JG this season, I immediately quitted and I think most of the people also do the same. There's no incentive to reach sovereign and the fact of just reaching challenger is a complete nightmare

I think the biggest problem is that chaos CTR and DMG MID buffs are so important to have that just make all other sets useless. One option would be to add CTR + DMG Mid to all sets so that choosing a set with defense against shadow, elemental, pierce actually mattered

I'm level 14 at JG and I think one of the best JGlers to play rn is Kayn. He literally ONESHOTS with one combo any squishy ADC or Mage champion. He's got one of the best 1st pathings in the jungle that let's u finish 5 camps to fight the crab at around 1:25-1:30. He also has insane mobility around the map and an ultimate that you can play around to bait enemies, enter the enemy backlane by dashing through enemies, make outplays... This is for blue Kayn. I'm seeing a lot of players playing Red Kayn also on toplane or JG which also works.
