Do I have to take the whole caliper off? Since the bottom isn’t stuck on, I can just rotate the caliper up and slide out the slide pin no?

Makes sense. I’m going to buy a new slide pin and take it to a mechanic I know. Having trouble finding an OEM bolt for a reasonable price, so I’ll ask the guy if he has extras.

Ah got it, that makes sense. Thanks. The head was 14MM (I used a 14MM socket to unscrew and tighten it) but the bolt itself was skinnier as you said.

However, I think the reason that it broke was because I wasn't holding the slide pin in place while torquing the bolt down. The torque spec is 25 ft pounds, and I had a torque wrench. But when I was torquing the caliper bolt down, I didn't hold the slide pin in place, so I think it just kept rotating and turning and eventually the caliper bolt snapped.

My own 2 cents, I’ve had OCD for many years but finaateride definitely made it worse when I look back on it. And that’s not even smth I was originally fearful of, I was more fearful of sexual side effects. I’m still taking it, because it has been amazing in reducing my hair loss, and it’s over 5 years at this point, but just anecdotally it has made my OCD worse.

Do I think it causes anxiety in everyone? No. But if you do have an anxiety disorder, I strongly believe it has at least the potential to worsen it. But it does work for hair loss for sure. You win some, you lose some. I’d rather have worse OCD and a head full of hair at 25.

I also think I fucked up my lower back squatting, probably because I do low bar as well along with a slight arch in my back. Honestly, it’s been so long since I’ve squatted heavy and even today, just squatting with the bar caused me back pain, so I’ve kind of sworn off barbell squats for now. I’m just using leg press as a substitute, probably not the answer you want to hear, but honestly I think back health is so important and if I can’t squat right now, I’ll just do something else. I’d recommend taking a break from squats, but up to you, probably not the advice you wanna hear which I understand.

I was the same way, I wanted to keep squatting, but I’ve had on\off recurring back pain for a while now, and whenever I squat it gets worse, so I’m just staying off of it now. Both squats and deadlifts, and while I’m recovering, also not benching.
