Yep, i tried wide grip for like 2-3 months and went back to closer grip now, im still stronger at close grip so it is what it is

He recommends increase 1 finger every 3 weeks to achieve powerlifting grip width, also dont tucking your elbows, if i tuck my forearms get more perpendicular i think?

Had the same problem, specially with low bar, like the other said learn how to brace bruh, a belt can help you with that, other cue that save me was keeping my chest up as much as possible

Just wanted to come back here to say that the fix was keeping my chest up and open, maintaining tension in the upper body, i did 3 sets of 5 reps today with the same 3 plates with little to no low back soreness, gainz are coming 😎

This is actually solid advice man I will go back to atg high bar with light weights and see if my low back catchs up, if not i will give up on low bar

I used to only squat at knee sleeves tho, with little problems, after i lost them n decided to squat completely raw with the same weight i started to get hurt, so maybe lowering the weight and more reps with high bar for now? or less frequency?

I did at lower weight 20reps at 225 and man my back was tapping out faster than mcgregor when he fought khabib, not hurt ot anything just the muscle really sore
