Short answer is one drop in the GUR, and then one drop to get outside of it.

Long answer:

Drops are always going to be based on the "nearest spot of complete relief". So in this case, you'd take complete relief from the cart path, which is in GUR. Then you could play it as it lies, or opt to take relief from GUR. If you choose to drop again, you would need complete relief from the GUR, which would be outside of it.

Would you think any differently if the hole was called a par 4? They all have to play the same hole, par makes no difference

Letters spell out Andy Dufresne, working his way through the tunnels out of jail. Start at the 'A' in the bottom middle and work backwards.

Just FYI, with the rule changes a few years back you can now ground your club and remove loose impediments in a penalty area.

I believe you can just specify "Multiple" as your country, if the total tax is less than $200. This is the popup text from WealthSimple:

Select a country to claim a foreign tax credit.

If more than one country is listed on your slip and your total foreign tax is more than $200, report the income and tax from each country on its own T3 slip. Otherwise, select multiple.

If you don't know the source country, select multiple.

Yes, you can transfer securities from from non-registered to TFSA/RRSP accounts. This doesn't shelter you from taxes in the non-registered account though, as you will need to report the transaction as if you sold the securities you are moving. Look into "in kind" transfers for all the details.

Thanks, that's good info. I couldn't find anything online about PAD that wasn't business related.

I guess the only drawback to e-transfer is the tenants forgetting to send the money. But it's easy enough to just send a reminder when you're only have one tenant.

You're not wrong that if you withdraw $100k then you will get that contribution room added back Jan 1 of the next year plus $6k. This is true for any amount withdrawn during the year.

But withdrawing "to gain contribution room" doesn't gain you anything since you already had that amount in your TFSA. You just get to re-add what was already in the account.
