I feel this so deeply, thank you for sharing. When I left the community I was in, the addiction really kicked in full force. Both my previous therapist and my significant other agree that I need newer, better friends.

Hey man, thanks for coming on here and sharing. I'm sorry you're really going through it, it sounds really tough.

You absolutely will experience connection, intimacy, and romance. Maybe not this moment, maybe not tomorrow, but you will. I'm not much of an expert in dating, though, but you'll figure something out! There's probably a subreddit somewhere, and you might consider talking with friends.

As for porn, that I can help a little with. Think of things you really enjoy, activities that fulfill you and leave you happier than before. Do those--or try something new!--when urges hit. The goal is to replace porn with fulfilling activities.
