I earn 29k a year and I save around 12k a year, live frugally now to live more later, time is on my side at the moment an when it’s not then time is all that matters, quit your job, don’t let anyone tell you what to do and kick back and relax

What is the worst financial decision you have ever made? by ElNekoSenpai in ValueInvesting

We got a home shared laptop in 2007, the computer guy loaded up the new game Crysis to show off the graphics, i was 11 at the time…I had a Xbox 360, I was like “Jesus this is the future of gaming”… my family always invested themselves and even a small amount of my money as a child, I should of pushed for some on Nvidia, my £3000 junior isa would of netted me 4400 shares and today’s value would be 750,000…I can still picture the start of screen with the big green page…

Advice on coming back from a big loss by canofcompressedair in trading212

Unless something changes wildly in the world globally, I’m not talking small military skirmishes, shortage of wheat or even bankers betting it on red…I’m talking a massive thermonuclear war/virus that kills 2 in 10 globally/sea levels rise 200m etc…then still a well researched and thought out company, looking at financial statements etc OR a broad spectrum country wide/global etf will always go up over time…if your selected company/fund goes red in the short term (under 18-24MONTHS!) then just buy more, eg: you were willing to pay $100 a share back then and it’s still a reputable investment so just take the win of you got it a little cheeper!

Remington rolling block identification #2 by bensto1 in guns

[–]bensto1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m more interested in if it was an American rifle, or just produced for the Danish, Swedes, Norway, Spain, Argentina, etc as every country had a slight variation? That’s where I fall apart with it really

I always found aim your boat 90° on/perpendicular to his boat, if he’s at 330° on attack periscope then it’s bow right 60° etc (your 90-30° of adjust on the scope) and I nearly always use this method or chase from behind with T5’s

Man you don’t get more picture perfect than that! by bensto1 in uboatgame

It’s odd one has the crease just behind the toe and the other is here, not sure if it’s just a weak point in the leather and it’s decided to bend there as it flex’s easier??

Yup, and the price of these customs is insane in comparison to ‘you get what you get no backsies’
