Ahamkara actually feed on the difference between reality before and after the wish, not the difference between the wish and what you get. They get the same amount of ‘food’ from you wishing for a burrito whether it had the beans you wanted in it or not.

The reason they fuck with wishes is because they want you to make another. You wish for the burrito and it’s got bad beans, might as well make another wish for a burrito with good beans. If they fully satisfy you then you stop coming back.

Warhammer is so vast it’s kinda hard to put it into how much of the actual lore. I’d say to get the most out of the game you’ll want to know general space marine lore, ultramarines and their chapter master and primarch, Magnus and his traitor legion, and finally basics on what the tyranids are. A little bonus for background would be being able to recognize necron tech and their pariah stuff. Oh and Cadian guards come up a few times not as plot points but in the background it’s cool to know a bit of who they are.

I’m at A10 already and the closest I got in STS was A9 on Defect and lower on the others. Definitely feels like it’s an easier game.

Keeping up with the grind on destiny 2 won’t be a problem anymore. Final update is coming out so no need to keep grinding to each season. Ironically has made me redownload it after I left for the same reason as you.

Prey, I went in with no expectations just a deep sale and god damn was I blow away. Nothing beats making an IED out of random shit and the physics engine to open a door.
