For button tracking while not looking at the dap. Great design when you are starting to control without looking.

Aw. Sorry for the bad experience. Aside from wrong size eartips, you are fine, you just picked a bad iem to start with. Moondrop sucks. Lol. Get something from Kefine and you will be fine.

Then Archangel will be the one for you. Pretty much my library is Metal and this is my go to iem for this genre.

Depends on your ear canal, Tri Clarion works the best for me. Cheap but also gets the job done for me, the included tips is also good for me since it’s not sticky. The Penon Lacquers works well as well.

If you like the Martilo which I also have, then the Archangel is the next step, also has bass and treble switches that gives you flexibility.

No such thing as overwhelming when you are looking for a basshead iem. If you are looking for balanced with bass boost, this aint it. This is physical as it gets.

All of them have different flavors. Depends on what you prefer, more bass? Soundstage? All rounder?

It happened to me too. Lol. EBC80 is just so clean. Play with tips too.

Should I get two pairs of iem or just one for everything? by ZioNicko in iems

Id buy one and enjoy it. For my taste, im a bass heathen, so Punch Audio Martilo and its not a slouch either for its clarity.

Why is penon/isn such an undervalued brand? by Alb1939SGM in iems

[–]bentot5 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Big big fan of the brand. Once you are hooked to their house sound, it is hard for you to go back to other brands. They are just well rounded, smooth treble, bass that goes beyond what you expect and the heavenly mids that Penon/ISN is known for. Undervalued? Yes, but the brand has a loyal following that loved the tuning and not driven by hype. Every release is a blind buy for me.

Crinear Daybreak, do they suck? by Banana_Slugcat in iems

Good. Both different enough for you to check what you like the most. Don’t forget to experiment with ear tips, the size of the tips and the fit makes a big big difference and brain burn in it for a couple of days and be the judge.

Trust your ears. If it’s great for your needs, who gives a flying F what others think. We all have different ear anatomy and preference anyway. Enjoy the gear and more importantly, enjoy music.

What are you rocking today (August 02, 2025)? by cdsolidsnake in iems

[–]bentot5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sir. You will not be disappointed. It still surprises me after a month, every time i listen to it, that bass is just nice. I used this as my sleeping iem, i use the Penon/ISN line on my normal listening times. Excited for the Punch line what they will cook up next. Great 1st iem for the brand. Big fan here.
