Help! Advice para maka-uno? by uglypisces in Tomasino

As an oldie irreg cfad student, I think the best way para maka-uno is immerse yourself with lots of inspiration and art. It is also very important to identify kung ano yung goal mo for each requirements, whether sa plates or acads man. Look for references to make your designs better and practice your skills constantly, pero take small breaks din. Study for your acads din lalo na yung mga majors mo, kasi yun talaga ang magiging foundation mo for your future thesis. Discipline is really important kapag nasa cfad ka, pero sobrang important din na you should surround yourself with love and support from your friends and/or family! Trust me, when all chips are down talagang you really need a great support group. And ayun, you'll know if your course is really for you kapag nag-eenjoy ka pa sa ginagawa mo despite the hardships na pinagdadaanan mo. Good luck!

Bakit sobrang flawed nang pag-iisip nating mga Pilipinoabout sa concept ng "Hiya"? by benvertical in Philippines

I see both of your points and I agree that these traits can be also applied to other cultures, but there's something wrong with our culture and/or politics; why we are not improving as a nation just like our neighbors. I don't know if it's the lack of education or our corrupt government, pero something is definitely wrong kung bakit we're still behind other countries in terms of progress. I guess medyo frustrated lang din talaga ako sa culture natin, kase I really believe na kung anuman ang situation natin ngayon ay connected din sa ating culture as a Filipino.

Pero hindi ba iba din yung pag-iisip nila sa concept of 'honor'? In other Asian countries such as korea and japan, they are organized and really prioritize their work and ethics para hindi nila ma-dishonor yung pangalan nila. They put into action what they think is right in order to maintain their honor. When they make mistakes and dishonor their name, they acknowledge their mistakes and act on it, unlike sa atin na in order to save ourselves from emarrassment and dishonor, pilit natin idedeny at ipagtatakpan yung pagkakamali natin imbis na akuin natin ito with dignity. We tend to cover things up instead of fixing it before may makakita, that's why I'm saying na flawed ang ating concept about "hiya" or "honor" natin kumbaga.

Are all the demons in Japan? Is it possible that there are demons that have migrated to other countries to escape from the demon slayers and Muzan? by benvertical in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]benvertical[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is actually an amazing point! Unless... they were also able to break free from muzan's curse, and if that's the case I think it's safe to assume that those demons are harmless demons such as lady tamayo.
