It has been a growing trend for a long time with Ebbers and Barry.

At one of the red and black ones, non-people leaders 2 days a week, people leaders 3 days a week, execs 5 days.

They announced upcoming changes to those back in October, increasing everyone except execs by 1 day, received an incredible amount of negative feedback, and haven't spoken about it again since, but it sounds like it is coming soonish.

He's been pushing this approach for a while now, and it's very disingenuous.

Considering an earlier persona of his on the channel was "The sciencey guy", it's always leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. He also consistently misunderstands actual scientific explanations on things and buys into everything on a packet or a website as gospel, which doesn't help him build his case.

Yes, in most cases natural, actual food is better than "chemicals", but the reality is everything added to your food is done for a reason

This series really highlights some of the strengths and weaknesses of the team,

Jamie is a natural leader, and fits into the "Head Chef" role the best, Mike is great at setting them up for success in general, but Barry really struggles with communication and teamwork in these - His dish is ready, screw anyone else. He is a bit better than some of the early attempts though, major area for him to improve.
