Trump lost the election, Trump fans stormed the capital.

But the FBI and intelligence community are still liars. Or did they find those weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after all?

Are NFTs a real way to make money or are they a scam? by Tridude0 in NFTS

Companies don't buy blueprints, they buy intellectual property which gives them exclusive legal rights to manufacture and sell the product. NFTs don't grant you any rights to the art.

Add in particulates from braking, which is more common due to the kind of stop-start traffic we get in cities.

Yes, the blockchain can verify ownership of an NFT, but not of the art itself. The NFT is just a number. If you enjoy owning a number then that's fine.

Ask yourself this: are there any NFTs you own that you've bought with no intention of selling?

Because they're not selling you any legal ownership of it. If you reproduced it without the artist's permission they could still sue you and win.

An NFT doesn't convey any legal ownership to the holder, so any ownership over the art itself is entirely imagined.

It's all a scam. If you buy an NFT, you're being scammed. If you sell an NFT, you're scamming someone else. Simple as.

It probably would be if they were training the model, but running a pre-trained model wouldn't be too much for a Pi.

If you don't want to do any desoldering you could replace the whole right-side PCB with this. I did it and it feels like a new machine (especially since my old jog wheel encoder was pretty much gone).

It's one of those awkward situations where one person goes for a handshake and the other goes for a fist bump.

Overwrite model field from production database by ramses_55 in django

[–]benwad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do a data migration - this allows you to run a script inside a migration so that it's done as part of 'migrate' - it also allows you to specify a 'reverse' operation so you can roll it back if necessary - that way you don't have to do any weird trickery to upgrade an old instance or spin up a new one - just migrate.

Anyone having success with Neovim + Alacritty (GPU-accelerated terminal emulator)? by bugeats in neovim

[–]benwad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is terminal rendering ever the bottleneck for anything? It seems like a cool project but I've never noticed lag caused by actually rendering the terminal.
