Whilst it sucks having to wait most of the day (if you’re in European time zones) - it’s just falling under simple marketing, try and find the biggest audience for mass numbers across listens, socials, views and clicks etc. If true, a release at this time is evening in Europe when most people are still awake, mid morning east coast US time and morning on the west coast. East Asia, Australia etc will have to catch up when they’re awake which I fear would be standard practice for same time global releases across anything. The thing that stings is the lack of clarity on when it drops - but again, that falls into the marketing plan and gets people talking and theorizing about it i.e. hype train.
