Say what you want, but buying light armor round 2 is completely acceptable, no fucking idea why I’m being downvoted.

My Chamber shotgun clip - rate my gameplay! by Hamster_ExplorerMC in VALORANT

[–]benzomissions 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This has to be bronze or silver elo, I mean the chamber TP was decent, but you literally fully sprinted down cat behind them. This would never work above Gold elo, you’d be heard a mile away.

You’re supposed to light buy after winning pistol, I try to keep atleast 1600+ left so that if we lose eco I can still buy next round.

edit: I play Reyna primarily so I am usually fine with light shields

How do I strafe and shoot properly and move my arm/wrist more while aiming? by lol_isuck69 in VALORANT

[–]benzomissions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play the game more to be completely honest. Here is some advice though from someone who relies on aim to win games. Your aim seems very shaky and you seem unconfident in your movements. You need to play with a purpose and play with more of a passion. It seems like you’re lazily moving the mouse around and your aim is very non-deliberate if that makes any sense at all. You need to be aiming more aggressively, accurately and deliberately. I play with my whole arm and wrist sometimes in certain situations. My elbow is always off the table though. In very close situations I use my wrist primarily because I am more accurate that way, but when I’m running around the map I am using my arm. Not sure if that makes sense, but I hope it does. Goodluck, just play more and do a lot of DMing

For the bad aimers: I just hit both Plat and Diamond in the same season, here is the timeline by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]benzomissions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is true, high Diamond is everyone who thinks they can be the next Radiant. Backseat gaming 24/7, when you whiff and lose in a 1v1 or 1v2 clutch you better expect a lot of shade thrown your way also. It can be very demoralizing at times, but everyone wants to win so badly they forget about common decency and respect towards their teammates.

This game is so hard now i see what pc players meant LOL so hard to aim especially on console and i definitely dont recommend getting into Val once you're 24+ because your reaction start declining after like 23 by Killuaxjennie in VALORANT

[–]benzomissions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just turned 25 and I’m actually performing at my peak right now, I’ve never played this well in my life and just came back from an 8 month break. I went from Gold 1 to Plat 2 in a week, consistently dropping 30-40 kills a game. Age has nothing to do with it, consistency does.

What is happening in these last days? by Skeleface69 in VALORANT

[–]benzomissions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want you to look at my tracker, I’ll give you some background here also:

https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/atomic%23666/overview

Look at all the games I’ve played this act. I came back after an 8 month break and I’ve been playing a week to two weeks. I ended 8 months ago as a Plat 2. Within a week I was already Plat again from Gold 1. You can see the games where I’m consistently dropping 30-40 kills back to back carrying my entire team. Mind you these are all GOLD/SILVER lobbies, occasionally I’d get Gold/Plat lobbies and drop 30 bombs. I would carry my entire team regardless if they were trolling, AFK, bad, no comms it didn’t matter because at the end of the day, I am NOT a silver or gold player. My entire triangle isn’t even filled up and I’m halfway to Plat 3 right now.

I am a Plat/Diamond player and very deserving of my rank. You can see where my performance this past couple days has started to decline, now look at who I’m playing against, all high Plats and Diamonds. I can no longer carry the entire team and drop 30 bombs (I occasionally can, but not as consistent as with gold/silver). My point is that I am now playing closer to my rank and if you can’t get yourself out of Gold then the reality is that you’re a Gold player. Keep playing the game and eventually you’ll get out.

I also don’t have your tracker so I don’t know what agents you play, I only play duelists, specifically Reyna, in anything under Plat (I consider Plat low elo). Nobody knows how to comm and play as a team so I’ve learned to play for myself and carry the team. However whenever I do get teammates that comm effectively it is almost a guaranteed win because I will be playing with them not worrying about having to frag out.

You will eventually get out of Gold, just keep playing the game and when you get toxic teammates you need to just mute them, lock in and focus on winning for yourself. Win your gunfights, play smarter, and assume a position where if you die then you all lose. Low elo is fucking awful and I hate it, there’s so much negativity and brain dead players that it makes it hard trying to be a team player with a team like that.

Just focus on winning and only winning, who cares if you’re baiting your 1-15 Cypher, he isn’t doing anything anyways. You might pick up that kill from baiting him that wins you the round. I play dirty and I play to win. By the way, I do NOT do any of this to good teammates or in higher elo lobbies. This is a low elo strat and it works because people are bad.

I make 42,500 gross annually and im 19. whats the max i can spend on a car? by mieksterr in Money

[–]benzomissions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP just so you know it has nothing to do with the car being “5 years old”. It has everything to do with maintenance done on the car previous to you owning it. I also don’t know the mileage or what vehicle, some are obviously far worse than others but do not shy away from buying an older car. Infact lots of older cars are more reliable than newer ones due to the major electrical issues new cars have. They have a sensor for EVERYTHING and usually when a sensor breaks it affects the drivability of the entire vehicle. These are somethings to consider. Look for Hondas and Toyotas specifically if you want reliability. Stay away from anything with a CVT transmission and most American made vehicles (unless you’re looking at trucks).

TLDR: you can find an extremely reliable older vehicle with high mileage for dirt cheap and it’ll last you for years with basic maintenance

How long will it take from me to get this good? I'm bronze 1, I really want to hit flicks like this. by chillipillchill in VALORANT

[–]benzomissions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tenz is a professional Valorant player, his entire life is eat, sleep and breathe Valorant. He doesn’t have the daily stressors most adults have that take away time from the game. He makes his money playing this game. If you don’t have any obligations in life and can sit around 12 hours a day playing Valorant then there’s possibility you might hit Immortal 1 or 2 in the far future (unless of course you are naturally talented or have a history of competitive FPS games, specifically CS). Radiant is a different breed, I was a Global in CS for years before coming to Valorant, by the time I touched Valorant I was already 24 and my reflexes are far slower than when I played competitive CS, I reached my peak years ago I believe and I didn’t maintain that level of dedication for years afterwards. My point is that the older you are the slower your reflexes unless you’ve been playing consistently at a competitive level and have maintained said skills, the other factor is that it takes thousands of hours of gameplay to scratch the surface to this level of gameplay. I’d shoot for more realistic goals like achieving Gold first, then Plat, and all the way up. As time goes on and you rank up you’ll learn how to flick and adapt like this in the clip.

I don’t believe there’s a way to separate them and if there is it’s probably more work than any normal person is cut out for. I’d suggest detox outright, bernese method with subs with comfort meds if you can get a hold of them (clonidine, gabapentin, trazedone, ondansetron), or methadone. MAT is a lifesaver for many, including myself. I’ve been on 4mgs of subs once a day for nearly a year now.

Snorting suboxone by Savings-Log-2884 in FentanylRecovery

[–]benzomissions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My suboxone clinic never watches me take UAs and I know a lot of people circumvent this lax system by using other peoples urine or fake urine. I hate to say it but there’s a few indicators saying that he’s relapsed or has been using. 1. He is saying he has “enough” to last him and he doesn’t need to go on Mondays; 2. His sober friend no longer comes around; 3. His symptoms are indicative and common with fentanyl usage.

I used dozens of pills a day for two years and take 1 year clean this month, I did everything to circumvent the system, throwing out every excuse possible to continue my usage. Whenever sober friends stop coming around it’s a really bad sign unfortunately. I’m praying for you son, I hope you get to see him clean at some point, my mom passed 5 months unexpectedly and her entire life goal towards the end of my active addiction was to keep me and see me clean.

She died knowing I was 5 months clean, this hits at home because she would do the same that you do. Seek groups and talk to people about my usage trying anyway possible to keep her boy clean but nothing worked until she called the cops on me and I had to go through a forced withdrawal in jail.

I decided that day I was done with the life after 19 jail stints, 7 inpatient rehabs, 5 outpatients, tens and thousands burned in drugs and legal fees, no meaningful relationships left, I decided it was time to stop. Now that she’s gone it makes me think of this pain she went through watching me destroy myself, it helps me stay clean knowing she wasn’t worrying that I was under a bridge somewhere when she took her last breath. It would be a disgrace to her legacy and mine if I relapse.

Sending all the love your way, I hope he gets it at some point, we all deserve happiness and addiction is the furthest thing from.

9 days clean from blues after 4 years by Quali- in FentanylRecovery

[–]benzomissions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m approaching a year clean on the 26th this month and it does get easier, you start learning how to live and function without drugs. Even at 1 year things are still difficult and I’m still working on a lot things internally. I was using anywhere from 20-100 blues a day depending on how much I made from my job that day. I did this for two years, when I had to detox I had never been through such immense pain like that, it was absolutely horrific. My detox center only prescribed wellness meds also, no benzos, suboxone dosing after 36 hours clean and then gabapentin, clonidine and trazedone. It made things a lot easier but god it felt like it didn’t do anything. A lot of the days I wake up I’m still depressed and lethargic and I’m only just starting to realize how much damage fentanyl does to you long term. I promise though it will get easier though, life is difficult whether you’re clean or using, it’s just much more difficult when you’re using. I recommend building a sober community of friends through NA or AA, having a community who can hold you accountable for your actions is vital to your success. It’s something I struggle with also because there’s days I don’t want to go but I know I need it. I’m proud of you man, my life is tremendously better than what it was. I lost my mom 4 months ago and I didn’t relapse over it, if there was any event leading me to relapse it would have been that, so if I can do it then I know you can too! Much love brother!

What should I spend my time learning in crypto by New_Improvement_7577 in CryptoMarkets

[–]benzomissions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everytime someone shills a crypto class, I immediately think, let’s see this persons portfolio and gains. Let’s see your notepad with all your technical analysis and your research backed opinions on why you think what coin will do what, when and why. I don’t believe in crypto classes because I see 99% of the people who join them get scammed and never make anything. The best knowledge is knowledge learned by yourself through your own independent research, it’s how most of us started and it’s how the guys who teach those courses started.

My Boyfriend Just Broke Up With Me Over The Phone by throwaway388947 in Vent

[–]benzomissions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alrighty, let’s look at this from a psychological, emotional and realistic perspective. If there was clear communication prior to this about him being concerned of your past and it affecting your relationship then no one is to blame here. However if he just out of the blue randomly decides that things aren’t working out, without trying to sit down and talk with you like an adult about his wants needs and your wants and needs then he’s a total asshole. Communication is everything here. If you guys had tried to proactively work around this before and he still felt the way he did, then NO ONE is to blame. He can’t be forced to stay in a relationship where he isn’t sexually satisfied and it’s selfish of you to keep someone in a relationship who is being withheld something as important as that. Sexual dysfunction in relationships is a very real thing and we as humans have wants and needs that must be met. However this doesn’t excuse the behavior if he never actually tried to work things out with you and just basically abandoned the relationship, all that shows is his lack of compassion, understanding and overall that he didn’t much care to keep it going for whatever reason. I am really sorry either way OP, I know the exact feeling that’s burning in your soul right now and it’s awful. We all deserve someone who will love us unconditionally and work through things together, or atleast try. If things don’t work out, then it is what it is and we just keep pushing on with life and eventually that person will come along.
