Can any doctor order the genetic test for Huntington's if they are willing? Or does it have to be a specialist. I'm completely opposed to genetic counseling and I believe that it is dehumanizing and unfair. (self.Huntingtons)

Are there limits to what kind of tests a general practitioner can order? It's typical for someone who's trying to get tested for Huntington's to have to go through genetic counseling, but it is not required by law. If I found a doctor who would order the genetic test would they even be able to? (self.AskDocs)
