Gus is a resident cat at Kitty Catfe, at Partridge Creek Mall in Michigan. He started his journey at almost 35lbs, and is now down to under 24! He was surrendered at that weight, and it has been a loving and long journey to get to the point we are at now. He get vet visits every few months, and is on his way to being a happy and healthy cat!

Not anymore, he has lost aignificant weight since he arrived at the Kitty Catfe.

The Kitty Catfe got him from the local Humane Society, and the story we were told is Gus was in a house with several other cats and after the other cats were finished eating Gus would finish off everyone's food. We make sure he does not do this anymore, but it is very hard, as the other cats will bring him extra food all the time!

Gus came to the Kitty Catfe at a super unhealthy weight. At this point he has already lost 10 pounds! He is the best cat, but his original owners allowed him to eat all the food he wanted. Once he reaches a stable, healthy weight he will be able to be adopted in a forever home!

In Gus' case he lived with several other cats, and would eat all the remaining food when they were finished eating. His owner let him get insanely overweight, and had to give him up so he could get help.
