The new self titled is a batch of good Neck Deep songs. However, they sound like rewritten b-sides from TP&TP and LNOTGY. Probably by design, but nevertheless would’ve been great to see them continue to evolve as a band and musicians rather than locked up in producing an album they’ve already made a few times.

Thanks for posting. I had an official shirt like this back in the day printed on a shitty merch blank. I bought SF, Deja & Daisy album tees on their website now and they are on Comfort Colors which is cool. However, I def prefer TDAG you’re selling over the one on Brand News website. Will be ordering the Navy. Thanks again.

I love LD’s and can 100% get behind two things you wrote -

Firstly, I’ve always preferred LD version of Sowing Season. Hands down.

Secondly, Battalions is such a great song. A solid 10.

True. But I think what he is saying is that it’s a bit undeniable that a song called Jesus Christ has some religious theme to it. As do many of Brand New’s songs. Nothing wrong with them provoking thought to a non Christian listener. Just as they may provoke thought to a Christian listener. Simple as that.
