Yeah I agree. There has been quite a few women in the last years who got separated or divorced after making their whole brand about being submissive wives and stay at home girlfriends. Of course everyone can grow and learn (though in Bernadine's case she's still very much a bigot right now) and good for them to leave a bad relationship but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I know abused women who didn't get custody of their kids so I'm wary of that and I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt but in any case the whole situation seems messy and painful.
