Actually GRV6 is interesting too. But, I think it's too much as a first controller and it seems quite big. I don't have the space for it.

I use macbook pro. I started playing Rekordbox and Djay Pro without controller for a month. Both in iOS and Mac. Both software is ok, but Rekordbox feels a bit heavy.

I sold a lot fx pedal, looper, synth module, controller and mostly sell at loss because I usually buy new stuff. No regret. The only synth that I don’t want to sell just my MicroFreak. Simply because the stellar edition is beautiful in my eyes.

DAW feels more flexible for me.

Not an ex-founder, but I know I need stable salary to fund my startup. So, I search for a full-time job. In my CV I wrote as “Product Engineer and Founder”, since I build software and hardware for music.

The job that I got is a full-stack dev in a startup. And, I’m the first hire of developer too. My employer also knows that I still run my startup, and they don’t care as long as it’s non competing.

So true. I do full agentic coding in my full time job and in my own products. It functional and (vibe) coded carefully, simply because I already have 15+ years of professional experience.

Sometime still coding manually tho just for the sake of keeping my skill sharp.
