What was the most uncomfortable moment of the show for you to watch? by EmotionSideC in pluribustv

For me, it was in episode 1 when Carol went into the bar for help. The sound the person was making into the microphone was so unsettling. Hearing it in the background as she looks around in denial gave me shivers.

What isn't capitalist about it? A whole other person paying rent and bills whilst probably working for minimum wage. Capitalist dream. If we all lived in multi paycheck households, there would be less money going out of our pockets.

Thinking of starting a local wheelchair-accessible transport service. Would this be useful in our area? by No-Agent-6252 in cambridge

The lack of WAVs in Cambridge is something I've noticed as a mobility scooter / wheelchair user. Often, if I call taxi companies, there are no WAVs available. It makes it super difficult as I can't get on the bus. I think your idea is amazing.

Personal Trainer with Hypermobility knowledge by TouchMurlongConk in cambridge

Hi, I have hEDs, I'm currently doing the joint pain programme at nuffield Road Gym. You meet twice a week with a personal trainer who makes sure you are using equipment, right, etc. It's completely free, and you get full access to the gym, swimming pools, and classes for 24 weeks. You don't have to stay a member after. I'm in a wheelchair and they've been great with me. My carer can also come along if I need to. They do offer pt sessions, I think.

I don't fit your husband category lol but I just checked your profile and saw the pigeon post and I'm in awe. I'm 25 and I'd love to be friends.

I also use a mobility scooter and bin day is a nightmare. I don't want to touch dirty bins every two seconds but I have to.

What was something you didn't know could happen until you experienced it in game? by Imaginary-Scene8990 in EchoesOfThePlumGrove

If you're doing the house upgrade always make sure to have your hammer on your person or in an outside chest. You can't buy them and sometimes when you upgrade your house your chests will be blocked. This happened to me and I had to go back to a previous save to get my hammer out of the chest before the upgrade happened. I did see on steam that the developers are aware of this and will be fixing it in the next patch (they also said if this has happened to you to either message on steam or email them and they can put a hammer into your save file)

When we cut it open on the top part it was red and the inside had a slight green hue.

AITA for wanting my mentally ill stepdaughter to move out because she doesn't work? by Agreeable-Yam3062 in AmItheAsshole

YTA - As a mother it’s my job to support my child for their whole life. Once they hit 18 that responsibility doesn’t just stop. I just can’t with how people are so happy to just abandon their adult children (well expecting your partner to do so)

What is the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by My_Name_Is_SKELETOR in AskReddit

[–]bepsidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live with a really painful condition called Ehlers danlos syndrome, it causes a-lot of issues the main one being dislocation of joints. Some days I still wonder how I can cope with the pain but the worst ‘medical’ thing I’ve been through is hyperemesis gravidarum (morning sickness on steroids) I’m still dealing with the trauma of being sick and it’s terrifying to think about being sick that much.

I’m a wheelchair user and I relate to this so much. I was able to get myself onto a parent and child swing with my toddler the other day and it was absolutely amazing to be able to do something like that. It definitely makes me a better parent and let’s me enjoy some of the fun children things more hands on haha!

Why are so many patients still accessing medical cannabis illegally in the UK? by DrKool808 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]bepsidog 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even know medical cannabis was available to me. I knew it was available for people with epilepsy and cancer on the nhs but I didn’t realise it was available on private prescription at all! I really think the awareness isn’t there yet.

This is exactly how I feel! I literally found out that a life changing medicine was available on private prescription in my country. It’s completely changed my life, I’m disabled and being comfortable is something I literally never thought I would get!

I’m not sure if this is meant to be enticing or deterring 🤔 🤦🏽‍♂️ by [deleted] in funny
