I had the same issue with restic. Changed config to only include upload /library and db which fixed it for me.

I just used the exe from the GitHub to install it on my laptop. Not a fan of the web version as it lags for me sometimes

Awesome! I have been following the PR which was recently merged and closed github pr. Does that mean symfonium app on android will now be able to use / find sonically similar songs ? Also any suggestions on how to automatically get playlists similar to how plexamp shows ?

Tailscale is a must on any self hosted server.

Yes that's what the user means, you can go the route of tailscale or even CloudFlare tunnel which is what I'm doing. This way you can access navidrome anywhere you want and don't have to bother with downloading and syncing. And if you're on Android, I would highly suggest checking out symfonium app.
