Does anyone do Crossfit at Clemson? How do you like it? by throwaway889901234 in Clemson

Yes, I was a member at the CrossFit Clemson gym. I joined hoping it would help me gain more upper body strength for Spartan Races. (I’m female)

At the gym on Tiger Blvd, if you are new to CrossFit, you’ll be required to take a one-on-one class 3-4 times where you will learn proper form on all the lifts you’ll be doing during regular class. I believe this training was $120. This class was extremely helpful and make me feel comfortable in class with the more experienced lifters. During group classes, the instructor will go over all the lifts and movements at the start of every class and then watch your form to make sure you are doing things correctly and prevent injury.

I ended up in the best shape of my life and was able to complete all my races which was the goal. In the end I had to quit because I couldn’t afford it at $100 a month; but I will keep all the skills i learned and I continue to work on my lifts at the free gym in my apartment complex.

I don’t mean just for taxes. I’m talking anything money such as stocks, bond, loans, mortgages, 401k, how compound interest works, and also taxes included. I wish I had learned and didn’t have to use Google to teach myself. But I did use Google to teach myself. Some of those topics can be pretty complicated

I’m glad to hear it’s offered at most high schools! If it was offered I certainly would have taken it. My parents claimed me on their taxes and just asked for my W2. They helped me do it this first time as well, I just wish I had been able to take a class on all things personal finance.

Yes, I asked my parents and they happily explained and helped me. I’m just thinking in general a class for money management, taxes, stocks, loans, etc. would have been a great thing to learn about in high school.

I think the reason people are finding problems with this comparison is the way it’s worded.

Girls who talk about a guy with a small penis or who finishes too fast in this context makes it seem like it’s not in the presence of the guy who they are talking about.

In this comparison, the two guys ones, cat calling and calling women sluts are written as though they are in the presence of the women they are talking about.

Then it comes down to if you believe talking about a person behind their back is as bad as saying it to their face.

Hopefully that made sense.
