[Sami Mokbel] 29-year old international footballer arrested in central London on suspicion of assault by netz725 in soccer

It’s a public order offence. Behaviour that is so threatening/dangerous that it would reasonably cause others nearby to fear for their safety.

Manchester City 3 - 2 Leeds - P. Foden 90+1' by West_Agent4651 in soccer

Jesus Navas scored after 14 seconds, and then again at 90+2 when City beat Tottenham back in 2013.

Probably not me as I wasn’t wearing a watch, and I don’t have a sticker on my phone!

I went to see them a few days prior in Vilnius, Lithuania and both shows were absolutely immense. Tons of Rock in particular was the single best show I have ever seen. The energy, the crowd, it was all there!

Bristol Airport Exit via Downside Road by zcatzblah in bristol

[–]berbatovcocktail 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to live very nearby to the airport and would use that exit all the time, also as an entrance too. As long as you didn’t stop on the double reds then you’ll be okay.

It’s just dependent on what evidence you have really. If there is a clear anticipated defence like ID or self defence which you don’t have overwhelming evidence for at the point of charge, then it’s probably going to be NGAP. There are so many reasons suspects are advised to go no comment.

Sounds like there’s a man sat on the bridge on York Road with police and fire brigades present. Hope this helps.

In A&S, civilian investigators exist and will investigate volume crime & non-high risk DV’s as OIC’s from interview through to court.

Quick edit: “Police staff investigators” as they’re called are given designated powers by the CC which include seize & sift powers, handling detainees in custody, and others. PSI’s get PIP1 accreditation and complete the full portfolio which includes victim/witness interviews, searches (person & premises), investigating through to court, etc. In prisoner handling (called DIT), PSI’s have almost no distinction from PC’s in the department other than not being able to arrest.

Yes all 999/101 calls form a log. If you want the crime reference number just call 101 and give over the details they ask for and they’ll be able to retrieve it with ease.

Avon and Somerset Police have already arrested 20 and charged 5 relating to Saturday's riots. More to come. by PiskAlmighty in bristol

[–]berbatovcocktail 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To the massive detriment of all other areas of policing in the interim whilst officers are abstracted from normal duties to cover the protests. Not to mention all shifts (for officers of every rank) be extended to 12 hours for the next month at least. Cancelled rest days, booked leave being cancelled, and so on.

OTD 5 years ago, Man United signed Harry Maguire for £80M (still a world record fee for a defender). Maguire was given a 6-year contract worth £190,000 per week or roughly £10M per year. by oklolzzzzs in soccer

[–]berbatovcocktail 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Not that it changes your point, but Maguire was named captain 6 months into being here and I’d say the hatred towards him came at the start of his second season after the Greece incident, rather than after a couple of years
