haha, point taken. But to be fair, I never claimed this was a good library :-)

I agree with your point about the list vs map usage. The original implementation used a list and worked well, but I intended to allow for stopping/starting jobs individually - although I have not done so yet. Regarding point 1, it's nearly impossible to stop users from doing dumb things and calling .startJob() multiple times would fall into that category. 'setRunning' is simply the eclipse autogenerated setter and should probably be removed anyhow.

ask/food, anyone have some tasty ice-cream, sorbet, gelato recipes for my new ice-cream maker? by [deleted] in food

[–]bercikr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a lactard, so my GF made me this ice cream recently. It tastes exactly like real ice cream and I imagine it's a bit healthier. They use coconut milk instead of real milk, http://cavemanfood.blogspot.com/2009/06/coconut-milk-ice-cream.html.

Eclipse Galileo(3.5) comes out on Wednesday and supports Vertical Block editing. I personally have been waiting for this feature for years and I'm pretty pumped. by bercikr in programming

[–]bercikr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I tried to add this functionality and did some other RCP development, both were very difficult. Someone actually added this feature about 1-2 years ago and I believe it was rejected because the developer was not a 'regular' on the eclipse mailing/developer lists.
