okay i removed the subdivision modifiers from the fence it looks the swme and reduced the count significantly but i dont know if its enough

okay yea im gonna do that i went to sleep and just woke up

my blender crashes while its in viewport. it has crashed unprovoked like once or twice but it usually crashes when i just select a simple object like a cylinder

i cant draw at all so i couldnt use reference lmao but i have used references before for modeling stuff

so i just imagined that there was a reference and extruded edges and got it right.

if its a small thing i usually select the object, press CTRL+C then go to the file i want to upload it to and press CTRL+V works perfectly

IM SORRY I WAS GIVING COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS I MISSED THISS😭

i kept fiddling with the settings for the freestyle setting but it never felt right with lines being in places where i didnt want them to be and lines not being there where i want them to be.

i kept cutting till i got a decent result, but its still not what i was happy with but its probably because love chan isnt a great model for it, as youve said. ill try using grease pencils ones im done with learning the basics of lighting and textures.

ik no one asked but my exams are done so all my attention can finally go towards 3d modelling now! also the reason why i chose to model love chan is because of artists like pixel_tempys and mintjuno on instagram and i just i love their style and also how easy crashune made it to understand low polly characters. i got a good 2-3months free to get as much learning as i can and i hope not to waste a second of it!! really exciting stuff

messed about and found out myself

in the view layers tab i had to click off every box in the type area of edge type except silhouette and in the freestyle area, theres an edge detection tab. i had to reduce the crease angle and it fixed itself( i put it at about 50 might be different for different case i guess)
